Which aspects of business culture need to change and by how much varies from case to case, from business to business, and often from department to department.

Business culture is influenced by a complex mixture of factors - national and/or regional influences, organisational structure, business sector, company size etc. The permutations of these factors and the resulting range of business cultures makes understanding, let alone changing business culture a daunting task. Add to this the personal characteristics of the individuals involved and it’s clear why there is no clear “recipe” for changing business culture.
