CPIS usually run small courses of up to 6 candidates, allowing more time for questions/answers and personalised discussions about how CMMI might relate to candidates' businesses - it is by working in this way that we have managed to achieve an overall satisfaction rating, based on trainee feedback, of 95%.
Here are comments from some of our trainees:-
“A very good course, and a knowledgeable enthusiastic trainer, who not only helps you to understand the CMMi model and its structure, but importantly, to understand its philosophy, and how if applied correctly it can help you
to improve your business. As an added bonus the course venue and facilities were also very good.”
- Derek Cox - Head of Quality Assurance Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ
“We found CPIS to offer the best value CMMI training in the marketplace with a delivery that is quite simply second to none. We have now embarked in a programme to train all of our consultants in CMMI and consider CPIS a trusted partner in this journey rather than just another training provider.”
- Chris Matthews - Process Workshop
"Prior to attending the Introduction to CMMI 3-day course I had read the introductory sections of CMMI for Development V1.2. This research helped me understand the concept, but I found the 3-day course gave me a sufficient understanding of CMMI for Development for me to begin applying the model to our IC design process. I couldn't have got to this level on my own. For me, the best part of the CPIS course was the small group size, which allowed plenty of time for discussion, and the instructor's experience in the hardware and software design industry which meant he was able to illustrate the use of the model with realistic events.”
- Steve Beck - Senior Manager for a well known multi-national semi-conductor and electronic equipment manufacturer"
“As a Quality Manager of a large Air Traffic Control project I am always looking for proven models to improve and enhance the quality process. I found the CMMI model particular useful and would recommend its application. I found the content of the course interesting, demanding and enjoyable. The instruction was pertinent and concise given the amount of material to cover. I would thoroughly recommended CPIS to anyone who is thinking about taking the first steps into the world of CMMI.”
- Geoff Astle - Quality Manager for an AirTraffic Control Organisation in Germany
“Having struggled to apply CMMI principles to our organisation by just using the material on the SEI web site, my collegues and I found that this course was essential in understanding how to apply it effectively.”
- Matthew - Systems Engineer at HMGCC.
